Decentralized Identifiers Web
Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs)
DIDWeb: A network of decentralized identifiers distributed across Decentralized Nodes (DNodes).
DIDs are unique identifiers that can reference any entity without relying on a centralized authority, and can also verify claims made by decentralized entities. DIDWeb enables a decentralized web of trust, where entities can securely and privately communicate and transact without relying on centralized intermediaries.
Our mission is to empower users with control over their digital identities and to ensure privacy by design.
Alternative to centralized systems
DIDWeb, an initiative by DWebLogic, aims to provide a decentralized alternative to traditional centralized systems. This approach allows organizations to maintain better control over their data while ensuring more secure and private customer interactions.
Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs)
Uniform Resource Identifiers are a way to identify any type of resource, such as web pages, books, people, and places. A URI is a set of structured data that points to a particular resource.
It's like a web address that you use to locate a specific website.

DID document
A DID document is a set of data that describes a DID subject, which could be a person, organization, car, or anything else that has a DID. It is stored as a JSON-LD object, which is a type of data format that is easy for computers to understand. Each DID can have only one DID document associated with it.
